Assistantship
My work spans two complementary roles within documentary film production: assistant directing and stringer services.

As an assistant director, I engage in both the organizational structure and the creative development of documentary projects. Working closely with directors, I help shape narrative trajectories, conduct visual and editorial research, and support the translation of ideas into cinematic form. I contribute to the development of scenes in relation to real-life conditions, responding intuitively to unfolding situations and adjusting approaches as needed. Alongside coordinating schedules and managing on-set workflows, I act as a link between editorial intention and practical execution—ensuring that the film’s vision remains coherent while adapting to the realities of documentary production.

In parallel, I offer stringer services for international productions, particularly in France, Germany, and Argentina, as well as across regions such as Colombia, Morocco, India, and Ecuador. In this role, I provide in-depth local support: researching protagonists, experts, and archives; scouting locations; securing permits; coordinating logistics; and handling translations during preparation, on set, and in post-production. Acting as a bridge between local contexts and foreign teams, I enable productions to navigate unfamiliar environments with precision and sensitivity.

Together, these roles allow me to contribute both creatively and operationally—supporting documentary projects from within the production process while grounding them in their specific cultural, narrative, and logistical contexts.

Education and Transmission

Customized workshops for children, teenagers, detainees, and diverse groups, fostering creativity through filmmaking:

My work in the field of film education and transmission has been developed in various experiences and contexts, always with the aim of using film as a tool for social and cultural transformation. Through workshops, classes, screenings and festivals, I seek to inspire and empower diverse communities, encouraging dialogue and critical reflection through film.

The association Les Films du Gabian runs film workshops in social centres during the school holidays. Their Festival La Première Fois is open to the public through partnerships with schools and universities, helping to train students and encouraging them to attend the festival as part of their studies.

Les Têtes de l’Art association promotes the idea of art as a tool for individual and collective development and, more broadly, participatory artistic practices as vectors for social change. I have run several video journalism workshops. The aim of the video journalism workshops is to provide teachers with a pedagogical tool that will enable them to approach media education with a view to developing pupils’ critical faculties and their capacity for reflection and action. They are in line with the logic of citizen media and use the artistic medium to encourage pupils to express themselves and get involved.

The Association Lieux Fictifs is a collaborative space for creation and education about the image, focusing on physical, social, cultural and generational boundaries. I have conducted workshops in the prison of Les Baumettes and in the cultural centre La Friche with young people from the neighbourhood, where we worked on the creation of TikTok videos about the exhibitions in La Friche. This experience included research, education and audiovisual creation in collaboration with the prisoners, as well as the facilitation of audiovisual workshops with socially disadvantaged youth, culminating in an exhibition of the results in the gallery of La Friche cultural centre. In collaboration with the Festival La Première Fois, we organis film screenings followed by discussions with people who have been incarcerated as part of their training at the Studio Image et Mouvement of the Structure d’Accompagnement à la Sortie (SAS) at Les Baumettes.

In Bogotá, Colombia, I collaborated with the Foundation for Reconciliation, providing cultural and political education on peace and conflict in a social centre for the reintegration of former guerrillas and paramilitaries, as well as victims of the armed conflict.

In Berlin, I worked with the association M-Power, providing cultural and political education through film for adolescent girls who have experienced forced migration. This experience focused on using film as a medium to explore and express their unique stories and perspectives.

I facilitated workshops and film presentations for university students in collaboration with the Rosa Luxemburg , promotes political and cultural education.

In addition, I have led international seminars, including the seminar “Refugees Welcome” for international volunteers of the association ICJA e.V.. This seminar, focusing on cultural and political education, took place after completing my further training to lead seminar exercises and international teams.

These experiences reflect my dedication to education and film transmission as powerful tools for social, cultural and political transformation. Through workshops, classes, screenings and festivals, I seek to inspire and empower diverse communities, encouraging dialogue and critical reflection through film.
